Monitoring Desk: Ukraine slowly but surely is coming out of the impact of lockdown and COVID-19 related issues and three foreign airlines intend to restore flights from Ukraine in late May-early June.

Ukrainian News Agency while citing evidence by the data on the websites of companies, reported that Cabinet of Ministers decided to issue work permits abroad for each request separately, three airlines – Czech Airlines, Wizz Air, and Lufthansa intend to restore flights from Ukraine in late May-early June.

This will help the tourism sector of Ukraine because summer tourism from European countries to Ukraine is a popular source of income for Ukrainians.

The writer of report Olga Fandorina maintained that the Czech Airlines intends to resume flights from Ukraine on May 24: from May 24 Kyiv – 7 flights a week, from May 25 Odesa – 3 flights a week.

Wizz Air intends to resume flights from May 23 and the German company Lufthansa from June 1.

As Ukrainian News reported, Poland is going to send charter flights for Ukrainian workers.

Also, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has received an order for charter flights for the transport of Ukrainians under labor contracts to Germany, the UK, Finland, Sweden, and Poland.

Meanwhile, Poland resumed issuing work visas to Ukrainians.
