Palamau: A dalit woman was allegedly gang-raped by five men at Nahdiha village in Indian state of Jharkhand. Dispatch News Desk repoted on Monday.
The woman was brutally tortured as she went outside to relieve herself at a paddy field near her home, Superintendent of Police Anup T Mathew told reporters here. “All the five men have been identified and raids launched to arrest them”, he added. The woman was sent for medical test after she came with her family members to report the incident with the Chhatarpur police station. The FIR lodged by the woman’s family have named Ram Dhani Yadav, Lakhan Yadav, Ramresh Yadav, Krishna Yadav and Shambhu Yadav of having committed the crime.
