FAISALABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday said democracy was the best path to move forward, and also reiterated that the incumbent government would complete its term and next elections would be held on time.
In his address at a function after performing groundbreaking of Hyundai Car Plant in Faisalabad, the prime minister expressed confidence that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would win next general elections.
The prime minister said the launching of Hyundai Car Plant was the manifestation of investors’ trust. He said the PML-N government’s positive policies were bearing fruits. He said ample facilities were being provided to investors.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also said the government’s privatization policy remained a success. He said that government succeeded to overcome gas and power crisis.
Earlier in the day, when the prime minister reached the industrial city of Faisalabad, the Punjab Governor Punjab Rafiq Rajwana received him on his arrival.
The Federal Minister for Commerce Pervez Malik, and State Ministers Abid Sher Ali and Talal Chaudhry accompanied the prime minister.
While being in Faisalabad, the prime minister will also inaugurate Nishat Mills as well as meet a delegation of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI).
