PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has started distributing “Sehat Insaf card” in Southern districts of the province after initiating the process in Swat, Shangla and Bunner.
A hand out issued here said that as many as 294,000 families in districts Lakki Marwat, DI Khan, Bannu, Karak and Tank and 312,248 families in districts Swats, Shangla and Bunner would get the cards to get free medical care.
According to breakup 176,789 families of Swat, 63,639 in Bunner, 71,248 in Shangla, 59,981 in Bannu, 26,981 in Lakki Marwat, 50,374 in Tanks and 33,523 in Tank would be benefitted from Sehat Insaf card.
The cardholders would be able to get free of cost health facilities at designated government and private hospitals across the province. The distribution process would be completed by May this year.
