LAHORE, Pakistan: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Dr Haider Ashraf said on Saturday that crime rate would decrease in Lahore after the launch of Dolphin Force.

He expressed these views during meeting with master trainers of dolphin force in his office. He said that dolphin force would patrol on different roads for the protection of life and property of citizens.

The DIG said that the Superintendent of Police (SP) Mujahid Karar Hussain and Master trainers imparted training to jawans of dolphin force according to modern method.

He appreciated the steps taken by the Lahore police including up-gradation of emergency helpline 15, SMS service 8330 and OPS rooms for provision better service to public.

He urged the passed out jawans to perform their duty with full dedication and commitment for improving the image of police department.
