ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday appointed Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad as the Chairmen Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The appointment came a day after a single bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) chaired by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui directed the federal government to appoint the Chairman HEC within 15 days.
The prime minister also approved appointment of Pervez Saeed as the Managing Director of the House Building Finance Corporation (HBFC).
