ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday decided that it will not use magnetic ink in the upcoming local bodies elections across the country.
The ECP sources said that the decision was taken after a consideration that the usage of magnetic ink did not provide required results in the past.
Moreover, the commission asked Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) to make normal ink of better quality for the local bodies polls.
