Earlier, the media reports said that an ECP meeting was underway under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja to make a decision to remove Imran Khan as the PTI Chief following his disqualification and conviction by a Trial Court in the Toshakhana Case.
The media reports stated that it had been decided in the ECP meeting that following his conviction, Imran Khan was no longer eligible to hold office as the PTI Chairman.
Therefore, the ECP was now to issue orders dismissing him from the post.
