ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan expressed its reservations on the violation of its official decorum and has restricted its officials to not interact with media.
The Commission in a circular in Islamabad today said that such an exercise causing mis-temptation and is damaging the image of the ECP.
The Commission has taken a very strict notice of this misconduct and has directed that in case of any violation disciplinary action would be taken against the official involved in it under the law.
The sub-ordinate staff has been barred to interact with media in person or through cell phones and E-mails.
The Commission has authorized its Deputy Director Public Relations to provide all information relating to media.
