ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) meets in Islamabad today to review arrangements for by-elections to be held on 22 August.
Acting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani will preside.
The main agenda of the meeting is to discuss security‚ deployment of army in and outside the polling stations and the situation created by rains and floods.
Meanwhile‚ in compliance with the directives of Election Commission of Pakistan Sindh government has requested for deployment of army during by-elections to be held on Thursday.
