CAIRO, Egypt: The former Petroleum Minister Sharif Ismail led Egyptian 33-member new administration has taken the responsibility to rule the country till the next government is formed.
The swearing-in ceremony of the new administration took place in Cairo on Saturday where President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi administered the oath to the new cabinet members.
Three women and 16 newcomers have also been included in the new cabinet while the Interior Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Defence Minister, the Health Minister and the Justice Minister are the same who were part of the previous administration as well.
The new cabinet has been formed after the former Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb resigned on September 12, 2015.
Later, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi asked Sharif Ismail to form a new cabinet within one week to take the responsibility of caretaker government until the formation of a new administration.
Egypt is scheduled to hold parliamentary elections next month.
