ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: There will be three public holidays from July 10 to 12, 2022 on the occasion of upcoming Eid-Ul-Azha.
Eid-Ul-Azha, commonly known as Bakra Eid, will be celebrated across the Country on July 10, 2022.
In a summary submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Division has proposed to declare Eid-Ul-Azha Holidays from July 10 to 12, 2022 (Sunday to Tuesday).
It’s worth mentioning that the holy month of Zil Hajj started on July 1 while Eid-Ul-Azha will fall on July 10 – the 10th of Zil Hajj.
The annual festival of Eid-Ul-Azha marks the end of the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Makkah, and commemorates Prophet Abraham’s readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to God.
