ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government has announced the Eid-Ul-Fitr holidays from May 10 to 15, 2021.
In this regard, the notification was issued by the Ministry of Interior on Monday.
“It is notified for general information that 10th to 15th (Monday-Saturday) May, 2021 shall be public holidays on the occasion of Holy Festival of Eid-Ul-Fitr,” the notification stated.
It’s worth noting that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) had already announced Eid Eid-Ul-Fitr holidays from May 10 to 15, 2021 a few days ago to reduce national mobility to prevent spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
In view of current spike of COVID-19 in the Country, the NCOC had issued comprehensive guidelines for “Stay Home-Stay Safe for Eid-ul-Fitr 2021” from May 8 to 16, 2021 to arrest further spread of the contagion.
