ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The chances of sighting the crescent of Eid-ul-Fitr are very bright on Tuesday evening and Eid-ul-Fitr could be celebrated on Wednesday in Pakistan, according to a Met office official.
Likewise, a member of Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Science Dr. Khaled Al-Zaaq also claimed that July 6 was most likely to be the day of Eid Al-Fitr in most parts of the Islamic world.
Meanwhile, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman will preside over the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting in Lahore on Tuesday evening for sighting the crescent of Shawal-ul-Mukaram 1437 AH. The members of district committees would also meet at their respective district offices for sighting the Eid crescent.

The Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman would announce the decision of crescent sighting or otherwise subsequently on the basis of information received after evaluating the evidences.
