ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Moon of Shawwal 1442 AH has been sighted; therefore, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Pakistan on Thursday (April 13, 2021) with religious zeal and fervour.
It was announced by the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad in a Press Conference in Islamabad on Wednesday night.
Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad said that it has unanimously been agreed by all members of Central and Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees that Thursday (May 13, 2021) will be first day of Eid-ul-Fitr across Pakistan.
Maulana told that witnesses of Shawwal Moon sighting were received from Chaman, Pasni, Peshawar, Qilla Saifullah, Mirpur Khas, and other areas.
