RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Ambassador of the European Union Ms. Androulla Kaminara met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the meeting matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including recent developments in the Afghan peace process were discussed.
Talking to the EU ambassador, the COAS said that Pakistan values its relations with European Union and we earnestly look forward to enhance mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region, especially the Afghan peace process.
