ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will be indicted on December 2 in the Rs22 billion Rental Power Projects (RPP) scam case.
The former premier appeared before the accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir hearing a reference against Ashraf in Islamabad on Tuesday, wherein the officials of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) argued that the former PM was involved in Naudero-II rental power plant project and investigations were underway about his involvement in other six projects.
The court provided a copy of NAB reference to Ashraf and fixed December 2 for his formal charge-sheeting in the case.
Besides Ashraf, former secretary and additional secretary Water and Power Ministry, former Chairman, MD and DG of Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) are also accused in the case.
