LAHORE, Pakistan: The famous Punjabi theatre comedian Tariq Teddy passed away in Lahore on Saturday at the age of 46.
Tariq Teddy had been suffering from live and kidney issues, and was under treatment at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) in Lahore.
Just a few days ago, the Chief Minister Punjab Parvez Elahi had announced to extend free medical treatment to the actor.

Meanwhile, in a statement, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Tariq Teddy.
The minister said that the comedian played brilliant roles in stage plays and Punjabi films and brought smiles to people’s faces with his humour and artistry.
Paying tribute to the late actor, she said that he left his fans sad today but he will always be remembered for his exemplary contribution in the field of art.
The information minister prayed for his eternal peace and patience for his bereaved family.
