ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that the federal government was focusing on development of the people of Sindh province.
While talking to a delegation from Sindh led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Member of National Assembly from NA-238 (Thatta-II) Constituency Syed Ayaz Ali Shah Sheerazi in Islamabad, the prime minister said that major development projects like Sukkhur to Multan Motorway, Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway and several priority projects in the field of energy were a gift from our government to the people of Sindh.
The prime minister also said that the PML-N-led federal government was particularly focusing on transport projects for the people of Karachi including Green Line Mass Transit project, Karachi Circular Railway and Lyari Expressway as Karachi was the economic hub of Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif advised the delegation to work diligently for social uplift of the people of Sindh as people living in rural areas need special attention.
The delegation included Member of Sindh Assembly Syed Ijaz Ali Shah Sheerazi, Ex-MNA Syed Shafqat Ali Shah Sheerazi and District Chairman Thatta Haji Hanif.
