ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The negotiators from the federal government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held the fourth round of talks in Islamabad on Tuesday, aiming to resolve the prevailing political crisis in the country.
The government was represented by the federal ministers including Ishaq Dar, Pervaiz Rasheed, Saad Rafique, Zahid Hamid and Qadir Baloch during the talks.
On the other hand, the PTI negotiating team led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi included Javed Hashmi, Jahangir Tareen, Asad Umer, Arif Alvi and Pervez Khattak.
Following the talks, Qureshi told media that that dialogue will continue tomorrow and that his party will not back down from its demand of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation.
The finance minister Ishaq Dar said that talks will continue between the two sides until an amicable solution has been reached.
