ISLAMABAD: The federal government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is pursuing the policy of dialogue and peace at home and with neighbours, the federal information minister Pervaiz Rasheed said while addressing the FAFEN’s pre-budget session for parliamentary reporters association in Islamabad.
The information minister said that the next budget would focus on investment, infrastructure and human resource development.
Rasheed said that the government has embarked upon a comprehensive programme to get rid of the menace of energy crisis. He said that several power projects have already been launched and more are being initiated. He said that the government has paid Rs500 billion to clear circular debt.
The minister further said that the government is also according priority to infrastructure development, especially rail and road network.
