LAHORE, Pakistan: The federal government is ready to consider the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demands to resolve the current situation, the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said while talking to a private TV channel.
The chief minister asked the PTI Chairman Imran Khan to come to the negotiating table in the larger national interest of the country. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is ready to meet Imran Khan.
Shahbaz lamented that Imran Khan joined hands with the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri for a so-called revolution to create anarchy in the country.
There is no justification for long march and sit-inns at a time when the armed forces are fighting against terrorists to restore peace in the country, Shahbaz added.
