ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Chief coordinator, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Makhdoom Adeel-ur-Rehman has said that government was equipping youth with free technical education in order to make Pakistan a developed country on knowledge base.
Talking to APP Makhdoom Adeel-ur-Rehman said the government was providing free technical training to unskilled youth by bringing an economical revolution in the country adding we were working round the clock to promote technical education.
“The well skilled and equipped youth are the precious asset which can steer the country out of current economical crisis” Makhdoom added.
The government had financially empowered women who were now running day care centres, dealing in e-business of garments and had organized small scale house-based enterprises, he further said.
He said “these women after getting loans were working shoulder to shoulder with men”.
Makhdoom said that youth of a Nation could do wonders by changing fate of their motherland if they were trained, educated and informed in an optimum fashion.
He said that government had focused on to empower the country’s youth and women through education.
Mentioning various schemes launched under the Prime Minister Youth Programme, Makhdoom said that these schemes were bearing fruits.
Replying to a question, Makhdoom said that some of the young women who got loan through first balloting of Prime Minister Youth Loan Scheme, had returned their first installment.
The chief coordinator said that government was seriously planning to carry out standardized and model education by streamlining of the three major systems including public, private and madrassahs.
