ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the federal government will provide solar panels for domestic consumers in Gwadar.
In a statement on Twitter on Friday, the prime minister said that as part of efforts to ease the difficulties of the people of Gwadar, the federal government has decided to provide solar panels for domestic consumers.
The prime minister said that I have also directed for the completion of work on transmission lines in South Balochistan by December 2022 and a plan for comprehensive off-grid system.

The decision was taken in a meeting held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in the Chair.
The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Power Engineer Khurram Dastgir, and Senior Officials of the concerned ministries.
