ISLAMABAD: Unknown assailants opened fire on two elite force personnel near Lal Masjid in Islamabad on Tuesday, leaving them injured.
The injured personnel were shifted to a nearby federal government services hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, the security has been beefed up in Islamabad ahead of the National Assembly and Senate sessions during which the federal budget would be presented.
