BAGHDAD, Iraq: The Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held separate meeting with President of Iraq Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani in Baghdad on Monday.
In his meeting with the Iraqi president, the two dignitaries appreciated trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

Separately, in his meeting with the Prime Minister of Iraq Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, the foreign minister conveyed best wishes to the leadership and people of Iraq.
They agreed to further strengthen multidimensional cooperation as well as cement brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iraq.
Pakistan and Iraq enjoy close and cordial relations based on mutual respect and shared values.

Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein in Baghdad and discussed a range of issues of common interest and explore avenues of bilateral cooperation.
Later, the two foreign ministers addressed a joint press conference, in which they reaffirmed the strength of abiding and historical Pakistan-Iraq ties and expressed their commitment to further consolidate this relationship.
The Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his Iraqi Counterpart also signed two Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) related to enhancing cultural cooperation and visa abolition on diplomatic and official passports.
