Foreign OfficeFO condemns use of Afghan soil by terrorists against Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Office has strongly condemned the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for activities against Pakistan.

In a statement on Thursday, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri called upon the Afghan government to take immediate action against the terrorists and terrorist groups finding sanctuaries in Afghanistan to target Pakistani security forces.

Earlier on Wednesday, according to the Pakistan army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists from inside Afghanistan fired across the international border on a military post in Mohmand district.

In response, Pakistan troops responded promptly.

During the exchange of fire, a 25-year-old Frontier Constabulary (FC) soldier Sepoy Fazal Wahid, a resident of Shangla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district, received bullet injury and embraced martyrdom.
