Foreign diplomats visit Line of Control —

Line of Control - A delegation consisting of the foreign diplomats, defense attachés, and representatives of world organizations in Pakistan have visited the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar will brief the delegation on the current situation at the LoC. The delegation will itself review the ceasefire violations by the Indian forces and meet the affectees. The delegation includes diplomats from 24 Countries including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, France, Azerbaijan, Turkey, European Union, Australia, Switzerland, Egypt, Poland, Greece, Iran, Iran, South Africa, South Arabia, Bosnia, Palestine, Libya, Afghanistan and others. Besides, a representative of World Food Program (WFP) is also part of the delegation. In 2020, the Indian forces have so far committed 2,330 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control. Furthermore, the ISPR said that there have been 2,333 ceasefire violations committed by the India troops till date in 2020.
