RAWALPINDI: Four Pakistan army soldiers were killed while 22 were rescued after an avalanche hit their camp near the Astore district of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.
The ISPR said that 26 soldiers came under a huge avalanche last night in the area. It said that 22 soldiers were evacuated despite extreme weather hazard but four soldiers embraced martyrdom in the incident.
