RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The authorities on Wednesday executed four more hardcore terrorists who were involved in committing heinous offences related to terrorism at a Jail of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a press release, the ISPR said that the convicts were tried by Military Courts wherein they confessed to committing crimes including killing of innocent civilians, destruction of educational institutions, attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).

The ISPR said that the all four convicts belonged to the banned terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and they admitted their offences before the Magistrates and the Trial Courts

Following terrorists were hanged to death as per ISPR;

  1. Ahmed Ali S/O Bakhat Karam:

The was involved in attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan, LEAs and destruction of an educational institution which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers and civilian. He was also in possession of fire-arms and explosives.

  1. Asghar Khan S/O Aziz Ur Rehman:

The was involved in attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan, LEAs and destruction of educational institution which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers. He was also in possession of fire-arms and explosives.

  1. Haroon ur Rasheed S/O Mian Said Usman:

The was involved in attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan, LEAs and destruction of an educational institution which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers and civilian. He was also in possession of fire-arms and explosives.

  1. Gul Rehman S/O Zareen:

He was involved in attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan which resulted in death of a civilian and a soldier. He was also in possession of explosives.
