RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four Pakistan army officers have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General from Major Generals, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
In a short press release, the ISPR said that the Major General Sadiq Ali, Major General Umar Durrani, Major General Aamir Riaz and Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa have been promoted to the rank of Lt General.

The ISPR further said that Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa will continue as the Director General ISPR while Lt General Hilal Hussain has been posted as the Commander Army Strategic Force Command.
Likewise, Lt General Malik Zafar Iqbal has been posted as Corps Commander Rawalpindi, Lt General Umar Farooq Durrani as Corps Commander Mangla whereas Lt General Aamir Riaz has been posted as Commander Southern Command.
Moreover, the Lieutenant General Ikramul Haq has been posted as Corps Commander Gujranwala while Lt Gen Sadiq Ali has been posted as Corps Commander Lahore.
