QUETTA/PESHAWAR: Four policemen were injured in two separate incidents of terrorism in the country on Monday.
In the first incident, a police constable was injured when unknown assailants riding a motorcycle lobbed a hand-grenade at Satellite Town police station in Quetta and managed to escape from the scene.
The injured constable was taken to Civil Hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, police arrived at the site of the attack and cordoned off the area.
An investigation into the attack went underway in order to apprehend those responsible.
In another incident, four police personnel were injured in a blast that occurred near a Police mobile van in Raigi Model town of Peshawar.
