LAHORE, Pakistan: The funeral prayers of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz will be offered at the Sharif Medical City in Jati Umra at 5:00 pm on Friday (September 14, 2018), the Spokesperson for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Wednesday.
Begum Kusoom Nawaz breathed her last on Tuesday at London’s Harley Clinic where she had been under treatment for throat cancer for a year.

Her funeral prayers will be offered at Regents Plaza Park in London at 12:15 pm tomorrow after which her body will be flown to Pakistan.
The party sources confirmed to the media that Begum Kulsoom Nawaz would be laid to rest at the Jati Umra residence of the Sharif family.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the PML-N Quaid and the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would meet with leaders, workers and sympathizers from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday at his Jati Umra residence in Lahore.
Earlier while accepting Shahbaz Sharif’s application, the Punjab government released members of the Sharif family namely Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and son-in-law Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar from Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on parole.
The government facilitated the Sharif family members so that they can take part in funeral and burial of the deceased.
Initially, they were released on 12-hour parole today in the early hours, and later the Punjab government extended their parole for five days.
The government declared the Sharif family’s residence at Jati Umra as sub-jail after the grant of parole.
