ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Governor State Bank of Pakistan Dr. Reza Baqir met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday, and briefed him on the overall economic situation of the Country.
In addition to briefing the prime minister on the Roshan Digital Account Payments, the governor also informed about the stability in the Country’s exports and remittances from abroad, and an expected increase in them due to the prudent policies and initiatives of the government.

Separately, the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi also held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed in detail the political situation in the Country.
The minister briefed the prime minister on the Pak-China Joint Venture.
The prime minister said that the proposed Pak-China Joint Venture will be a significant milestone in the accomplishment of his vision for the Country’s prosperity and development.
