ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Information Technology Amin ul Haque has said that the penetration of 4G Services is increasing in the Country with each month whilst our target is to launch 5G Service by the end of next year.

While addressing an event in Islamabad on Wednesday regarding the provision of High-Speed Mobile Broadband Services on Motorway 3 & 5, the minister said that the IT export target of US$ 3.5 billion has been set for the current Fiscal Year 2021-22.

The minister said that the government is extending facilities to the IT industry to achieve the target which is 70 percent higher than the previous year.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Minister for Communications Murad Saeed said that projects have also been started in tribal districts and Balochistan to provide them with better internet services.

Murad Saeed said that the revenues of the National Highway Authority (NHA) and Pakistan Post have also increased due to the use of the latest technology.

The minister said that given the talent of Pakistani youth, the IT sector will contribute immensely in the Country’s economy.
