PESHAWAR: Residence of Pakistan Peoples Party candidate in Peshawar was attacked on Monday as no loss of life was reported.
Police said unknown persons hurled hand grenades on the rooftop of Zulfikar Afghani’s house located in Peshawar city.
Officials said the candidate and his family members remained safe in the incident as the blast partially damaged the house.
Police collected evidences form the site and started further investigation. Police were clueless whether it was an incident of terrorism or personal enmity.
Afghani blamed no one for the grenade attack.
