ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the four years Bachelors Degree Scholarships Programme for the students of Balochistan’s Coastal City of Gwadar, enabling them to study in top universities of the Punjab.
According to the source, the purpose of the scholarship programme was to empower students with high level education so that they could get better job opportunities through China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
In this regard, an advertisement has been published on the HEC website, which stated that scholarships will be awarded purely on merit base only to the students who are residents of Gwadar.
The selection of the students would be made possible on the basis of Aptitude Test score conducted by the HEC.
The last date for applying in the scholarships is June 28. The students are encouraged to apply for the scheme to get benefit.
