ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday presided over a high level meeting in Islamabad, in which his forthcoming visit to China and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects came under discussion (PM Imran Khan’s China visit).
The meeting was attended by among others Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Planning, Development and Reform Minister Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Power Division Minister Omar Ayub Khan and Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
In his remarks at the meeting, the prime minister said that strengthening all weather Pak-China friendship is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

PM Imran Khan’s China visit to take place in November 2018
The prime minister is reportedly to pay a week-long official visit to China from November 3, which would be his second foreign tour since assuming the Office.
During his visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan would meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and other Chinese senior civil military leaders in Beijing.
Imran Khan’s visit to China would be undertaken at the invitation of the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Earlier last month, Imran Khan paid a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia which ended in an agreement between the two Countries, under which the Saudi government would establish an Oil Refinery in Gwadar besides investing in other projects in Pakistan.
