Last week, the 74th session of the UN General Assembly opened in New York.

On September 27, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Imran Khan, addressed the General Assembly. A regular session of the UN General Assembly and a speech by the head of the government of Pakistan coincided with an ever-growing tension and deepening crisis in relations between Pakistan and India.

The region in which India and Pakistan are located due to 70 years of military-political tension between the two powers remains one of the “powder kegs” of the world.

Addressing the General Assembly against this background, Imran Khan said that in the event of a military conflict between two nuclear powers – India and Pakistan, events will develop according to a completely unpredictable scenario.

The head of Pakistan’s government on this occasion, in particular, said:

“If a conventional war begins between two nuclear armed neighboring countries Pakistan and India, and a country seven-time smaller than the aggressor what kind of option left for the smaller country? What would be option for Pakistan? surrender or fight till death? And we would go with the second option”.

This statement by Imran Khan testifies to the Prime Minister’s confidence in the strength and power of his power, which has recently been transformed thanks to his tireless work. During the short period of his tenure as head of the government of Pakistan, Imran Khan made every effort, will and mind to ensure comprehensive dynamic development and strengthen the military power of the Islamic Republic.

The statement by Imran Khan that his country, in the event of an open threat to Pakistan from India will leave its choice to the second of two possible options, is a clear indication that Pakistan is by no means a weak link in international political relations. On the contrary, Imran Khan is assisted in making such a statement by Pakistan’s ever-increasing military strength, the country’s strong and fair position in international political relations, as well as the unanimous, almost 100 percent support of the Prime Minister’s domestic and foreign policy provided by the wise people of Pakistan.

Particularly strong and fair indignation of Imran Khan was caused by the policy of the official authorities of India, in particular, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The head of government of Pakistan, in particular, said:

“The population of Jammu and Kashmir occupied by India will never come to terms with what they are facing”.

Imran Khan emphasized that in Kashmir occupied by India 11,000 women were raped, 13,000 young boys were abducted:

“But there was absolutely no reaction from the world community.” The lack of response to these crimes, according to I. Khan, is due to the fact that India is a large market.

Indeed, the situation in the region is far from stable, and war can occur at any time. If the war starts, then Pakistan, given the size of its territory compared with the territory of India, will fight to the end – and in this case, to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Pakistan may be forced to use nuclear weapons. The war between India and Pakistan will not be in the interests of any power; on the contrary, not only the economies of Islamabad and New Delhi will suffer, but also the economies of large countries that have invested in conflicting parties. For this reason, the relevant international structures should make every effort to resolve the situation in the region. Preventive measures must be taken to avoid a military conflict between the two sides.

Touching upon the chimera called “international Islamic terrorism”, which is being circulated by world media and some Western politicians, Imran Khan stated that Islamophobia began to spread especially after the events of September 11, 2001. As for the concept of “Islamic terrorism,” it began to dominate the world press and among world politicians who were negatively towards Islam after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. “In the 1980s, during the jihad in Afghanistan, as a result of radicalism brought from this country, Pakistan lost 70,000 of its innocent citizens,” he said.

In the next part of his speech, the Prime Minister of Pakistan also touched on climate change. In this regard, Imran Khan, in particular, said: “Measures to mitigate the effects of climate change require resources and funding.”

According to the prime minister, glaciers are melting in Pakistan, and climate change is damaging the economies of poor countries.

In addition, Imran Khan said that billions of dollars’ flow from poor countries and settle in rich countries by laundering money by corrupt people, but laws do not allow poor countries to return their money back.

He also addressed the financing of terrorism and drug trafficking. Imran Khan stated that his country was faced with this situation because there was a leak of money as a result of theft by the ruling elites in the past. He concluded that the world as a whole, the World Bank and other financial institutions in particular should act immediately and help poor countries cope with such negligence.

Summing up everything said by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, it should be said that the speech of the head of the Government of the Islamic Republic was the speech of a strong man, confident in the future of his country and people. Today, under the strong leadership of Imran Khan, Pakistan is confidently and rapidly developing towards a prosperous future. It is hoped that the Indian government will finally stop the genocide of Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir and allow the people of these regions to determine their future destiny themselves.

As for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, under the wise and firm leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a perspective and a path to a bright future opens up for the country. It is precisely on the implementation of the scenario for transforming Pakistan into an economically powerful and prosperous state that the Sino-Pakistan economic corridor is aimed at.

Projects that are being implemented and will be implemented within the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project will continue to significantly improve Pakistan’s infrastructure and effectively contribute to improving the welfare of the Pakistani people. All such measures, implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, have one single goal: improving the welfare of the people of Pakistan, reducing unemployment, creating new jobs, attracting foreign investors to the country, etc.

The people of Pakistan look to the future with optimism and confidence that their country will easily cope with all the challenges it will face.
