If you are a PTCL DSL, CharJI, Evo Wingle, EVO, or a fiber optic user, you can perform a PTCL Speed Test easily. The details on how to do the speed test follow, but the speed measured is in Megabits (Mbit/s) or Kilobits per second (bit/s). The higher the speed you get, the better your connection will be.

Starting the PTCL Speed Test
To check the PTCL internet speed, the first thing you need to do is to visit this PTCL Speed Test. Once you open the website, you will see a tool similar to this one:
Click on ‘GO’ so the test can be started or you can also click Go above to start the test.
The Result
Once the tool is done processing the specifics of your internet connection, the result will be displayed on your screen like the one mentioned in the picture below:
How To Understand The Result?
Understanding the result isn’t as hard as you think it is. When the data is pulled up in front of you, you can check your Download Speed and the Upload Speed. The higher the number, the better. The figures that are presented in front of you can be used to compare the package you have subscribed to for yourself.
What Are Pinger & Jitter?
Alongside your upload and download speed results, you will also get the Ping and Jitter figures as well. Now, most of the users get confused as to what these are. That’s nothing to be worried about. The Ping is used to check if the host is reachable across the IP network or not. This means that you will get to know the data host is sending to the IP network, and if it is reaching in the desired quantity or not. In simple words, the lower result you get for ping, the better. It means that your internet connection is better or more stable.
On the other hand, the value associated with jitter helps you know the time delay in sending the data packets over the network. The value should be lesser than 150/ms at the max and should not be more than 1 percent.
