WASHINGTON: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Friday approved $550 million of tranche for Pakistan.
The decision was taken by the executive board of the IMF at a meeting in Washington after a third review of Pakistan’s economic performance.
The amount will be received by Monday after the IMF board meeting.
The federal minister for finance Ishaq Dar while lauding the decision said that the trust of the international financial institutions on Pakistan is the reflection of the successful economic policies of the government.
