ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad on Thursday made a telephonic call to his Pakistani Counterpart Imran Khan and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest (Imran Khan and Mahathir Mohammad).
During the conversation, Prime Minister Imran Khan underscored close and cordial relations between the two Countries and highlighted the need of high level bilateral exchanges. He also called for collaboration between Pakistan and Malaysia at operational level to take benefit of each other’s expertise.
Imran Khan conveyed the immense respect of the people and the government of Pakistan for Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad as a statesman and global leader.

Imran Khan and Mahathir Mohammad Hold Telephonic Conversation
The prime minister extended his heartfelt felicitations to his Malaysian Counterpart on victory of Pakatan Harapan in general elections and appreciated Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad’s vision for Malaysia’s steady economic progress.
The Malaysian prime minister reciprocated Imran Khan’s sentiments and congratulated him on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) victory in Pakistan’s recent elections.
Imran Khan invited his Mahathir Mohammad to visit Pakistan, which he accepted.
Mahathir Mohammad also invited Prime Minister Imran Khan for an early visit to Malaysia.
Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over a meeting of the Federal Cabinet, in which a 10-point agenda was discussed.
