ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday asked all Pakistanis to join the solidarity movement to be observed tomorrow, aimed at convey a message to Kashmiri brethren that they stand by them in their unflinchingly resolve against Indian oppression.
The whole nation will observe Kashmir Hour from 12:00 to 12:30 hours on Friday, in which sirens will sound all across the Country, national anthem of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) will be played, and all the people and vehicles will come to a standstill.
“I want all Pakistanis to come out tomorrow 12 noon -12.30 pm to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people and send the Kashmiris in IOK (Indian Occupied Kashmir) a clear message that the entire Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with them & against Indian fascist oppression, the inhumane 24-day curfew,” Imran Khan said in his twitter message.
The prime minister said that daily injuring and killing of Kashmiri civilians including women & children are all part of the ethnic cleansing agenda of the Modi government and its illegal annexation of the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the Indian plan to change demography of Occupied Kashmir is a war crime under the fourth Geneva Convention.
“We must send a strong message to Kashmiris that our nation stands resolutely behind them. So I am asking all Pakistanis for half an hour tomorrow stop whatever you are doing & come out on the road to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people,” he said.
