PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran formally inaugurated the historical and biggest All-Pakistan Youth Carnival with the name of Mega Challenge (MC-16) here at Qayyum Sports Complex Saturday.

Minister for Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, KPK Ministers, MPAs, CS KP Amjad Khan, ACS Azam Khan, AS Sports and Youth Affairs Tariq Khan, DS Sports Adil Safi, DG Sports Rashida Ghaznavi, AD Youth Affairs Arshad Hussain, Usman Khan and his team Liaison Corporation (LC), the consultant partner, for the historical MC-16, a very grand gathering of the more than 1500 participating students competitors from more than 250 universities of the country were also present.

Speaking on this occasion, Imran Khan lauded the efforts of holding this historical Mega Challenge in which large numbers of students from various part of the country taking part.

“You are our future builders of the nation,” Imran said to the youth in his address.

He said Pakistan is blessed with lot of resources and now it up to us to guide the youth to the right direction so that they could be able to run the country toward a progressive nation.

He advised the youth to have higher education so to make Pakistan a progressive nation in the world community. Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also advised us to take education even one travel to China, he added.

Imran urged upon the youth to adopt our own culture values rather to adopt western and anyone else culture. The youth, he said, should take active part in sports activities because it teaches us tolerance, and a way in which one should lose and the other should win.

“Loser will have to make more efforts to attaining victories and the winners should continue his hard work to maintain its victory position,” Imran said.

In sports, he said it also gives us to analyses our mistakes and errors and certainly to remove these things would give us a chance to make a comeback for shining.

Education is very much important as it educate our brain, he added. He said living legend Muhammad Ali Kelley is a great example of fighting back and use of strategies. He won many of his titles with strong nerves as he fought till the end.

“I also idealized Muhammad Ali in my life,” he informed. His sporting intelligent, bravery, and his skills were much less so I urged upon the youth if one lose do analyze your defeat and do hard work for a certain comeback.

Earlier, KPK Sports Minister Mehmood Khan, Usman of LC presented shield to Imran Khan.

The students competitors vie for the top honor in 27 different competition comprising Qira’t, Naa’t, drama, thematic art, painting, calligraphy, short filming, photography, Urdu signing, English singing, cultural dance, music band, English Declamation (Serious and Humorous), Urdu Declamation (Serious and Humorous), English Essay Writing, Urdu Essay Writing, Bait Bazi, Quiz, Business Plan, Ad Making, Spelling Bee, Stand Up Comedy, Extra Ordinary Talent, Console Gaming (FIFA), Hiko Singing, Hinko Mushara.

Liaison Corporation (LC) in a joint venture with Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs KPK masterminding MC first in 2013, wherein only youth from Peshawar took part in various competitive events, followed by similar event on KP level in 2015 and now the MC-16 is being organized at all Pakistan level. The MC-16 will continue for two-day. A Musical Night will also organized on March 5-6.
