Islamabad, Pakistan: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan says to his PTI leadership that be ready for contesting general elections in August 2022 with Electronic Voting Machines, (EVM) system and has sent messages to PTI foreign wings to be ready for their arrangements.

PTI circles say that Imran Khan has assured his former cabinet members that general elections will be held in August 2022 with EVM system. Considering it a divine message, PTI will call applications for party tickets after Eid al-Fitr.

Though the multiparty government is not ready to hold general elections without electoral reforms and the Election Commission of Pakistan has also declined to hold elections before October 2022, PTI looks exceptionally confident about going into elections in August 2022.

It may be mentioned that PTI is holding public meetings all over the country where it is consolidating its narrative that the government of Imran Khan was a regime change funded, sponsored, and designed by the United States and domestic elements worked on the behest of foreign powers.
