NEW YORK: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday held a meeting with his British Counterpart Boris Johnson on the sidelines of 74th UN General Assembly Session in New York.
During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual interest between Pakistan and United Kingdom.
Imran Khan will also hold an important meeting with the US President Donald Trump in New York today, in which the situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and the Afghan peace process are likely to be discussed besides other areas of bilateral interest.
Today, the prime minister will also meet the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Swiss President Ueli Maurer, the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, and China’s Vice President Wang Qishan.
Likewise, Imran Khan’s meetings with the World Bank President David Malpass and the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi are also scheduled today.
Imran Khan will also address the US Council of Foreign Relations.
In addition, he is also scheduled to speak at the United Nations Climate Action Summit 2019 in New York today.
