ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan Thursday submitted reply along with chart of money trail sent by Jemima, former spouse of Imran, in the Supreme Court.
The money trail chart was submitted incompliance with earlier Supreme Court orders in a plea seeking disqualification of the PTI chief moved by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Hanif Abbasi.
Along with money trail additional documents were also submitted explaining details of the payment sent to the Rashid Ali Khan by Jemima to buy Bani Gala property.
The additional documents showed that Rs 48.4 million was sent to Rashid Ali Khan in ten different installments.
Imran Khan stated in the reply that the amount sent by the Jemima was a loan, however advance payment to buy Bani Gala property was given by me, he added.
He also explained that if a person would made assets from foreign earning then tax laws would not be implemented upon him.
He further informed the court that assets made with foreign earnings; need not to be exposed in his assets according to income tax laws.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Supreme Court had fixed hearing of the case for July 11 while issuing notices to the litigants.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will hear the case.
