ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has directed Jahangir Khan Tareen to immediately reach Karachi and hold a meeting with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

Meanwhile talking to media, the MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said they wouldn’t be part of any government. However, he added, in order to strengthen democracy, they might support a majority party in the Parliament if that required their support to form a government.

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has already announced its support to PTI in the Centre and Punjab, and its leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi are likely to meet the Chairman PTI Imran Khan in Banigala today.

During the meeting, matter of establishment of government in the Center and Punjab will be discussed.

Meanwhile talking to media in Islamabad, the PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said All Parties Conference (APC) had failed, and several opposition parties had rejected the idea of boycotting the Parliament. He said there was no reason behind their movement.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the general elections were free and fair, and international observers had also declared them transparent.

“We want the idea of new Pakistan to be flourished more,” he added. He said the support they received from the public had increased their courage.
