PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan retained Rawalpindi’s NA-56 seat and surrendered Peshawar’s NA-1 and Mianwali’s NA-71 seats while former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti surrendered Mardan’s PK-23 seat.
The newly elected Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa Pervez Khattak vacated Nowshera’s NA-5 after taking oath as the chief minister of the province.
While the PTI’s provincial president and Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaiser decided to vacate NA-13 Swabi.
Meanwhile, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has not yet decided to vacate which one National Assembly seat, as he had won elections from three national assembly constituencies of Tank, DI Khan and Lakki Marwat.
Maulana on Saturday did not take oath as member of the National Assembly.
