India resorts to unprovoked firing at Sialkot’s Charwah Sector

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Indian border security forces again resorted to unprovoked firing along the Working Boundary at Charwah Sector in Sialkot on Thursday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

However, no casualty or property damage was reported.

In a statement, the ISPR aid that the effective response of the Pakistan Rangers silenced the Indian guns.

On January 21, the adviser to the prime minister on national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz addressing a conference in Islamabad said that the incidents of ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary show Indian nefarious designs towards Pakistan.

Likewise, the Director General ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa also while addressing a think-tank of Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in the United Kingdom earlier this month regretted that India is attempting to divert Pakistan’s attention from war against terrorism through unabated border violations.

The Indian forces continue to commit ceasefire violations along the LoC and Working Boundary at a time when the Pakistan’s armed forces have been carrying out a full-fledged military operation Zarb-e-Azb against various outlawed militant groups in the northwestern tribal region since June last year
